Your Quench is never satisfied

We look, we search, we read, we listen but we still cannot see, cannot hear, cannot believe. Why is this? Habits. Unhappiness, loneliness, anger, frustration, controversy and others are all habits we have become accustom to. We bear these misgivings as a weight that we accept. We have all been contaminated by the defeatist suggestions and teachings of our elders, its no ones fault it is just the continuation of generations passing their traditions, cultures and ideas that are never questioned.
Many of us would rather listen to others who speak only about themselves and their philosophies. But when someone mentions God you turn away and dont accept. For some reason we attach a stigma to God incorporating other peoples negativity and deceptive tones into our thoughts making us believe this person is some religious nut or fanatic. If someone comes before you with the word of God and you immediately turn him away think to yourself what is the reason. Have you studied the word of God? Have you truly spent time understanding the lessons God teaches. We can all stay bitter, defensive and ignorant because this is easy. Why? Because most people are still in the dark. Trapped by their self pity, worry, anxiety, fear and stress. They cannot see a brighter future for they have not yet decided to shift their view of life. Its hard, I know. I was once a lost soul caught up in the endless noise that encircled my mind. The door was always there but my self indulges and nothing ever good happens to me attitude blinded me from ever opening that door. When you realize the Bible is a gift for mankind that teaches us to begin thinking correctly and to fill the heart and soul with Love, joy, forgiveness and peace, your life will then open up and the morning sun and evening sunsets will be more glorious then you ever imagined.
I go back to the title of this blog and relate it to one of my favorite scriptures in John 4. This is when Jesus sat with the Samaritan women at the drinking well. The conversation they had enlightens us to the powerful words Jesus speaks that if heard correctly will open many doors for those who are lost. Picture this, Jesus strolls into town, its hot from the desert sun and he's thirsty. He walks over to the well and sits down. He's tired and beat. A Samaritan women walks over to get some water for herself and Jesus says, "Please can you give me a drink." Imagine that, the son of God asking you for a drink! The women responds," I am surprised you ask me since you are a Jewish man and I am a Samaritan women. So Jesus says,"If you only knew the free gift of God and who it is that is asking you for water, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water." Its so cool what he says here; I'm right here in front of you, my love is free, its here whenever you want it. Ask for it and you will receive the living water, the water that clears the mind; water that fills the soul with love and peace. Jesus then goes on and says, "Everyone who drinks this water,(referring to the water man teaches with, the ideas you believe in that have not brought peace)will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give will never be thirsty. The water I give will become the spring of water pushing up inside that person, giving eternal life." If you are still thirsty and your throat is parched maybe its time to start drinking from the fountain of God.

Move to the calling of Gods Music

There is peace within all of us. Never mind the rejections of the world. It has no foundation. Sincere truth and loving faith are the sources to calm the soul when we lay are heads to rest. Call upon the Lord when troubles arise. Today is his gift to once again reclaim your freedom from the troubles that burden the spirit within. The dance is never ending; it is still going on. Release the fears and move to the sounds of grace that God has blessed upon us all. There is life in the word of God. It transcends all knowledge man has created. Defuse the triggers that click inside you-rise up above the nonsense and begin dancing the songs of joy that will lead to salvation.

Somewhere between who I am and who I used to be

Where are you now? What point of life are you at? Are you beginning to question what life is all about? Do you feel caught in the middle? Somewhere between moving forward or moving backward. This feeling is the calling of your spirit. It is climbing the walls, the barriers we have created. The soul is gaining steam and while it works its way to the surface you are going through a transformation. New thoughts, views and promises begin to fill the heart; curiosity and wonder to the possibilities of how life will be if you believe and change your old ways. This tug of war to reclaim your soul is the struggle we all incur, but like everything else in life if we follow through and commit success and peace will flourish. You cannot ignore the continual knock at the door. It will never stop until you get up and open it.
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." -Revelation-
